Editorial Director, Writing and Editing Coach: Karin Karian

After an initial background liaising with publishers, literary agents and authors for a high-profile international bookseller, reviewing books, copywriting, editing and overseeing its catalogue, Karin has spent 30 years as a freelance writing and editing coach and editorial consultant. She has helped numerous authors through the full process of planning, writing and editing their book for publication, and can provide both expert hands-on development coaching and editorial honing and advice at every stage, both for traditional book publishing and digital formats, and online applications, across all genres.
She has a knack for spotting things that others may miss, a love of writing and language, and a relaxed, engaging way with authors. Confidentiality is a given, as is her passion for ensuring that the author’s voice always comes through.    
Additionally, Karin can help writers find their authentic identity and develop exceptional skills for confident public speaking, presenting and readings. She can also provide mentoring support throughout the author journey.

Proofreader: Carolyn Waterworth

Carolyn is a freelance proofreader with a proven track record in a wide range of fiction and non-fiction publications. Client testimonials consistently cite a high standard of work and a delivery-focus, frequently to very short deadlines. Much of Carolyn’s work is highly confidential and she has a reputation for discretion and dependability. Carolyn works mainly from her own home office but is also available to work on-site with clients as required.

Designer: Sarah Spargo

Sarah is a highly-skilled designer who works with many businesses ranging from startups to global brands. She has worked on business and children’s publishing, traditional print-based and digital formats. She can help with promotional marketing across print, digital, and social media, with static or animated content. She advocates for flexible work styles and always works remotely individually or as part of an international team.
